Your calculations

The values you type are processed in your browser. They only reach our server if they are part of the page address and that address is loaded (see below).

Values in the page address

For neutral tools (converters, math, dates, cooking, home…), the values you type are copied into the page address, so you can bookmark or share it. They therefore appear in your browser history.

For health tools, values are put in the address only when you press "Share", with a warning.

What is kept on your device

The site stores in your browser's local storage only: your theme choice (light or dark), the language you chose, whether you closed the language banner and your best streak in the quiz. Nothing else. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Hosting server logs

As with any website, the server hosting the site receives technical information on each visit: IP address, page requested, browser type, date and time. It is used only to run and protect the site. How long it is kept depends on the hosting provider.

Exchange rates

Exchange rates are fetched by our server from the Bank of Canada. Your browser does not contact the Bank of Canada.

If you write to us

Your email address and message are used only to reply to you. They are never sold or shared.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information

Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, the publisher of the site is the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question or request for access, correction or deletion, write to our address (the “Write to us” button below). We reply within 30 days.

Changes

If the site ever adds ads or visitor analytics, this page will be updated first, and your consent will be asked where the law requires it.
